yes,this is well weird.

i got these 2 boxs and i know i have changed the freq and netid as i used netid fun.now when i power them on and try to get eng menu i cant get in,every time it gos to c&w update screen.

i am wandering if i have to pull the jumper again and it might let me in the eng menu again.

well the only way i got into eng menu was by opening the box, pulling the red jumper off the point for like 30secs and changing the freq manualy for my area and the pin.i saved that and inserted a netid fun which is programmed right and all i get is c&w update screen and nothing else,it wont proceed any further.

as far as i know if the netid fun was not right.ie: if the ird and bk was wrong it wouldnt switch to update screen.

so i am going to do an experiment and just stick any old card in it and see if it gos to the update screen if i am right then no,the c&w boxs wont update to tw yet people say that c&w are compatable with tw and these are pace 1000 ditv.

well i found out c&w box on cr3 wont update on tw.so thats both my pace1000 c&w boxs that are no good for tw.

so even though the areas are the same if a pace1000 has cr3 update it wont work on tw.
