A standard sky lnb will work just dandy for Hotbird - they are chucking out as much power as the Astra 2's as 28E.

Dont pay for an installer to put your dish up (and if you do you certainly dont want a Sky ladder monkey) - you will learn far more about the technical side of the hobby if you set it all up yourself. You can get it working with the dish sitting on a workmate, chair, old tyre etc to begin with to avoid fighting with it whilst up a ladder

I have compared a TM5400 and a CT3100+ side to side, and there's not much difference in operation or functionality. The Clarke Tech was cheaper.

Apparently, they are made in the same factory.
