Default Eurovox Missing Channels N*L Dublin

Hey Folks,

Just after updating the firmware on this box to the 5th December version. However, I'm still missing about 50 channels....at first glance it seems to be sultana 1 & 2, all the sly movies, sly news and V*1 channels, some of the +1 channels seem to be missing.

is there any way i can get these back? or have they moved onto different frequencies? On N*L dublin...can anyone please advise me on how to get them back?

Thanks in advance!

They're all working ok for me. Try an autoscan failing that a powerscan.

yea ive tried both but no joy at all unfortunately! have 83 channels at the minute compared to the 138 i had before! do i need to update the codes as well or would that have been fixed in the firmware update?

hi, just a quick question, i put in the new codes last thursday and the box works fine since, i never bothered updating the firmware. So is there any particular reason why i should update the firmware??
thanks

No you shouldn't have to mess with codes if correct firmware is being used. Have you tried a factory reset then scanned?

yea ive done the factory reset. Just noticed something there though....i used to have a frequency on 363 but its not there anymore...ive tried manually adding it but im not getting anywhere near a signal

Also 323 and 371 are broadcasting at around 68-69% (the rest are between 72-75%), would this have anything to do with it? im sure they were higher before!

Are using a splitter? You could have a bad connection somewhere or might need a booster.

i see....the max i have is 76%..must be a problem with the signal strength in my area (lucan) which has always been pretty ropey at the best of times!..would a signal booster make any difference? was thinking about a philex one from argos (534/6161 ...i cant post the link because i have to few posts!) or could someone recommend a better one?

edit: no its a direct feed into the main cable line im using

All you can do is try it. Try Maplins in Blanch. At least you can go in and talk to them.
