HELP!!! K3 drive not powering

Hi, can someone please help me, ive just been geting the key of my liteon, went fine and then i acidently deleted the key. ibve now gone to retrieve the key again and my drive will not power on at all. nothing has been soldered ive been using the probe it just sudenluy wont power or eject or anything

do you get a power light on the kit?

if you get no light on the kit it looks like you might have got a short on the kit and killed the drive.

so does the kit power on ok and you have power.

does the tray eject if you use the console to power it?

have you tried flashing the drive at all?

hi, the lights are on, but i have no key and it does not eject when plugged in to the console, ive had another thread open here and it looks like im absolutely screwed

thats me there as well SALEEM.

the probe basicly connects to tx on the board and cos the kit should have rs3232 built in it will connect straight to tx on the kit.its all wired up.

people who lift pads and then the drive wont eject can get away with using the probe due to the fact that it will join tx to the kit cutting out what is probably damaged.

you on the other hand seem to have another prob though as your kit lights up (means it aint shorted) but,you got no power by sounds of things.you might have shorted something with the probe like stuck it in a component by accident.

it obviously needs some life to give you something,namely the key.

looks like you need to get the drive checked to see if there is any electrical power.
