Just in case you suffer another 'senior moment' and forget, or for anyone who might be new to using 'msconfig', it's worth noting that if you stop anything from running on start up with it, and later delete that program without remembering to re-enable it in the start up list, it will leave orphan programs behind. The msconfig utility was designed as a diagnostic tool only.

P.S. There's a free utility available from Microsoft called 'autoruns', which is a lot more comprehensive than 'msconfig', but "with power comes responsibility", so you have to read the user notes carefully before deciding what to change or stop from running. A hassle free alternative is to use 'Autorun Manager' which is one of the tools of the freeware Revo Uninstaller.
