Virgin Media wireless connection help

could someone please help me im having alot of trouble of setting up a wireless network. ive got the sub webstar epc2100 modem and boughter the zoom ap+4 wirless router. the problem is i can connect wirelessly to the router settings it aquires network address says connected but when i try connecting to the internet say internet explorer cannot fine this webpage, i can use the windows diagnostic tool but that says connection is fine ,please help or point me in the right directionj,thanks.

can you ping the router? are you getting a dhcp lease from the router?

just thought id add, i eventually got it sorted dont know how though lol,but trial and error seems to pay off lol, all i need to do now is to set up a wep then were off.time to get sloshed.
