What solutions have you tried? Sounds to me like you may just have a weak signal. Are you using a splitter? If so try it without.

if you've tried all the other possible solutions and none worked

VM boxes in an area by me (partners nan) were receiving a signal that was too strong from the 'green box' i believe. The engineer said that it was a fault on their side and not a broken set top box.

They solved it by putting about 3 attenuators on, a 5db and 2 x 3db.. and i think thats quite alot.

Just a thought.

Hi

You could also try putting feed in to the cable output which I read somewhere acts like an atennuator as it could be too strong a signal.

Regards

if yer got pixalating channels, either signal is too weak or too strong (prob in this case too strong) ok get an attenuator, they vary in price so shop arround, these do the job 100% and sort pixalation probs out, I got a kv and no probs, sister lives 2 minutes from me and she gets pixalting mainly on movies, got her an attenuator from Maplins at £8 with the f-connectors to go in KV and SPOT ON, she's chuffed to bits.
AJ

PS Yer can Hit the thanks button fer this.

If you mean that you have lost some channels and coming up bad signal then same been happening to a few people near me lost ITV 2 and a few others, just factory reset/delete all channels and then re-scan the box and will pull em all back in again.

Hi mate,

Any chance you can send me a link for the attenuator that you bought for your sister.

Thanks cmuk
