close softjtag first too.

but you could get 1,2,p option just before decompressing.

if you miss it, bootloader will get over written

Do I click disconnect then red X or just red X?

it doesnt matter how you close it.

There are a couple of connection options like telnet ect when looking at HT, which one should I use?

OK, here's what happens:

softjtag starts writing the bootloader:

starts with: Written 64 bytes OK

finishes with: Written 32768 bytes OK
Flash write completed OK


I'm gonna now close softjtag, open Hyper Terminal, reboot modem..............and pray lol

er'm can any one tell me if iv brick't my modem!

i start'd to do the re-wright of the bootloder with soft-jtag and as it got to 60 odd bite's it stall'd and told me 2 reboot the modem and now the modem wont do a thing and only light that come's on is the power light have i brick't it?

is there any easy way round this or not?

i did read you say some think about liftin the flash and re-programing it that way but im not shore...!

and if it is brickt do you wont it for spair's?

as it's not much good 2 me now lol

but gess it's my own fault for not readin in to it more befor jumpin in feet first hey lol
