Hello,

I am looking for some help with what is the fastest software to convert .avi files or any other files to apple tv for a mac, i am aware of handbrake and visual hub,

However i am looking for a software program that i can buy, that may be faster !

I have been told that iskysoft is good and also imtoo, but this is only what the net says !

I would rather take someone's experience, and buy something i know that is fast and easy to use !

Please help if you can.

Hi

AVS Video converter is good and you have the chance to converter from avi dvd into mp4 mk4 which will work on ipod iphone itouch.

Look for a free piece of software called "Super"

Converts to virtually anything you want and fast too!

Also look for VisualHub, easiest of all to use. I've heard its now open source so could even be free - try looking on sourceforge.

The software is great! Really easy to use and the cropping, trimming functionality is an added bonus! I found it by searching on Google. a great piece of software!

You dont need to convert the files...

If you are trying to watch AVI files on an AppleTV, use a patchstick to install the avi codecs on the device

Search google for Patchstick Creator, its free...

AppleTv will then play AVI files without conversion
