Default Technomate problems

Hi all I am also new to this I have a technomate not motorised yet and a very big dish 95 cm with duel LNB I have installed it myself about 6 months ago and I could get a lot of channels. A friend of mine at the time update my box for me. I have not watched for a while as I have been watching something else but now what to get to grips with this system. I can not get half the channels I used to and was hoping that some could point me in the right direction.

Thanks to everyone in advance

If you tell us which channels we might be able to tell you why - and explain what you mean by "cant get" them - loss of signal or cant decrypt them
