I am looking to buy a hd satellite receiver with 2 CI slots,my main use is for watching indian channels on hotbird 13E.
Any advice is appreciated,the reciver should be hd and reasonable.

Hi iI have a technomate 6800hd reciver for the last 3 months, once you get used to the setup its great with good picture in 1080i, I run a 1 mtr dish and motek motor,it also has softcam as well as cam slots.

Stay away from Passion from Maplins,mines been nothing but trouble.

Duolabs are bringing out a new QBox HD receiver soon and of course there is the Dreambox HD series, but they seem a little expensive.
It might be worth waiting a couple of weeks until these HD receivers have been tested by other members.
