Yes, I used to suffer it... When it wasnt constantly sticking on 8% it would be shooting up and down between 8% and 90%, sometimes causing certain channels to be unwatchable.. Wacking a bog standard cheapo Labgear TV booster on it cured it for me.. Signal stays rock steady on 80% now.. I can only assume it cleaned the signal, like stabilised it or summat, but it worked for me..

The booster Im using is a labgear MSE113, but I would suggest any cheap sub 10 quid TV booster from Argos would do the same job just as well..
:-)

(just dont put it in line before your proper VM box or Modem, as it'll possibly prevent them talking back to VM, which they need to do, but your EV box doesnt.. So only put the booster on the feed just before your EV box)

Went through the roof? whats that mean... Do you get any channels at all on a scan.?? What is the actual problem you have ? All you've said is about your signal strength, but how is it effecting you ?? what problems ??
:-)

Does your box have the option to swith its inbuilt booster off ?? Normally found in "TV Settings" worth a try, ... (or if its already off, try putting it on)
