Dream Box 500C - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi All,
I have been trying to get Dream Box back up and running with no joy.
I loaded DW 2.1 Image then scanned for channels.
Found all channels but could only view FTA.
Followed guide to over-write Rom7 but still can only view FTA.
Is there something else I should be doing.
Help appreciated

have you put the emu,s in place and set chmod 755 to them
and started evocam

press blue then restart the cam
evocamd. (I think)
The FTP worked for the rom7 ok I assume.

if the image had no cams preinstalled you will need to add them

Not to good with dream box, have not got a clue what you meen.
Is there a new image out that I can load that will have all requirements pre-installed and get me back up and running.

most newer images are released as fta for legal reasons

When did you download the DW2.1 image?The one with the updated roms is available over there dated 29/11 and it works for me in Ireland.Oh and Happy new year to everyone

,I'm on can no 6,things are starting to go a bit blurey.

Hi All,
After lots of reading it seems as if I have loaded new DW2.1 image without saving vital data - cams etc.
Can any of you nice peeps provide me with idiots guide on how to upgrage this image to allow me to watch non fta channels.
