Followed instruction- Need Help ambit 255

Hey , how you all doing.. Thanks for reading my thread. i got a kind of lil bit of problem, my flashed ambit 255 ambit keeps going down every otha day but 2day is just dead( changed mac and tftp ip) so it aint that problem. now am at a point that i want 2 upgrade my ambit 255 infinite to Haxorware_1.0rc.4_Ambit_Ready. but now after some am new to this. i got abit of problem. well lets start. the tools i got max232 connecting to my modem, and a usb to Serial DB9 Adaptor to connect to my computer.

well, i followed the instructions and stuck in "
hyperterminal" i dont have that in my programs > Accessories > ,,,anyways thats minor..

the steps i took.
Make a new folder on your PC. Copy "Haxorware_1.0rc.4_Ambit_Ready" into it.

Copy "tftpd32.exe" onto it


In Windows Networking set the network adaptor connected to the modem to a manual configuration with these details:

IP address: 192.168.100.10 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.100.1 ( at this part when i enter the numbers and close it, ip address stay saved, but not gateway , is empty)

DNS: <don’t enter anything>

Start tftpd32.exe

Now start HyperTerminal (cant find this)

and connect to the COM port of the PC using these settings: Bits per second: 115200 Data bits: 8 Parity: None Stop bits: 1 Flow control: None

(done that) but now last time i tried using 250config to access the page using serial com1, my computer get messed up, the blue screen comes up , am using a vista laptop.)

and what is "p" i keep reading all this tutorials, am confused now

anyone can you please help me here, really need to upgrade my modem to haxoware. cheers,

dont use rc4 or any 2mb dump.

theres a step by step guide in the thread called "haxorware problems installing".

you should use the search, reposting the same thing over and over again isnt very productive.

true reposting the same thing over and over again isnt very productive.,, if you cant direct me in the right direction, all i want to do is upgrade to Haxorware, and i kno you good, , but at this point you useless, (no hardfeeling)
