I could still get the guide just fine with the card in but disabled in Device Manager (no point in removing the card). "Scan for more channels" worked just fine, but for "Set up signal" I had to re-enable the card. One day the card showed up as a new Multimedia Controller card and wouldn't let me install the drivers for it. Eventually figured I'd broken something so wiped and re-installed Vista. Unfortunately still couldn't get drivers installed so my card must be borked (HOW?!). If I'd stuck with the install that used to have card installed I would've been fine provided I stuck with "Scan for more channels" but my attempts to fix this problem just compounded it.

Moral of the story - if it's not working don't play with it, you'll just make it worse!

Just an update - ordered just before midnight Thursday 29th January, delievered Wednesday 4th February. Pretty quick considering it's coming from Germany to the UK, in my opinion.
