Default where can i buy DVB-C from

does anyone know where i can get a cheap one from? preferably one which makes it so i can connect my VHS video player to my computer.

and does this make it so i can receive the channels i am not currently subscribed to?

I'm not sure that your posting in the correct section! do you mean a DVB-C cable card for your pc? if you do WTF do you want to connect VCR?? anyways try fleabay search for "Technotrend 1501C" proberbly the cheapest, make sure I'ts a C for cable!!

Some DVB-t cards have a composite in for VCRs etc but not the tt-1501c.

Get a tt1501 for your cable decoding and find a cheapy tv card for your comp in if you need to?

(unless floppy has a comp in?)

Hisat have the Twinhan DVB-C ,no video in though and cam slot don't work with joker cam (Don't know about any others) so i use softcam

Hi JellyFreak, as others have said, if you want to connect your VHS player so you can watch your channels then you are going about it the wrong way. Assuming you could like with a Firewire connection then you could use a FireDTV (External Unit) or a FloppyDTV (Internal version) this requires a CAM for Media Centre but nothing else for Media Portal except Vplug. Thanks

Thanks for the link dude - ordered one off that site last night as DVBShop have stopped stocking them. Hopefully I won't break it like I did my last C1501, but family's not happy having no EPG for the cable so needed one urgently.

Will update when I receive it to give others an idea on delivery times, just like you did mate.
