Think it only gives Sky3 and channel number allocation to channel 4, 4+1 & 5. There isn't much on Sky 3.

If your in Ireland you wont get any extra channels and the BBC ITV Channel 4 and five will disappear from the EPG

An ftv card registered to a uk address currently gives you

Five (the scrambled version not the fta version used by Freesat)
Fiver / +1
Five US / +1
Setanta Sports News
Sky 3
Channel 4 HD - on HD sets only of course

puts the correct regionalisations on the BBC & ITV regions & C4 / +1 advertising micro region

whats the difference between the two?

The FTA has all the sports(ueafa Cup,NFL etc.) that I assume the scrambled version has!

They are exactly the same

Ones scrambled the other isn't.

The one that is unscrambled is Broadcast off Astra 2D on a tight spot beam over the UK as far as i know.

I think the other is on Eurobird1 alough i could be wrong. I never watch much British TV to take that much notice
