Default Which Programmer and card to buy?

Hi Guys,

I bought a samsung silver cable box a while a go with a titanium card and used to go to a go to update the keys whenever it stopped. However, he's told me it can't be done with a titanium anymore....not sure if I believe him or not but I've had enough and am going solo now....

I've read some of the tutorials but I'm about to purchase a infinity usb phionex programmer and a fun card - does this sound ok? does it make a difference what type of card? i.e. funcard3 or 4?

Or.....am I just better off buying another box e.g. starview

Thanks in advance for your help
