Argos Freesat instalation...confusing

Bought two freesat boxes from argos, just the SD non-recording ones. I assumed I would also need to buy the twin installation (one dish, twin LNB connections) as I have two boxes, but the argos website says the twin install is ONLY required for recordable boxes. So, if I buy a single installation is the engineer likely to wire two LNB's to the two boxes or am I supposed to buy two single installations.

I did ask argos...... but they didn't know.

The twin LNB is required for any TWO tuners, be they in separate receivers or in one recorder.
If you must have Argos installation, go for the twin (caveat: twin in this instance may put both feeds to one location - for two receivers you need the feeds to different rooms - probably).
Otherwise (as in dealing directly with an installer) go for a quad (four out), ready to add a recorder in the future.

For two receivers you need a twin LNB, one coax cable from the dish for each of the receivers, just like you do with a twin tuner model.


Installing two single Sky dishes for two receivers would work fine, but is a silly way of doing it.
