Thats why i usually advise to read pace cable guide or cable for dummies first, otherwise its just hard work lol.

No problem m8, they are not ment as insults but people who want to have a go at a mod buy a programmer then start asking questions about how to do it. This happens time and time again when the correct approch is to decide you want to have a go at this, then read, read, read and read this will enable you to make the correct decisions on what box to obtain which programmer is suited to your setup etc etc and prevent a lot of the pitfalls that await before you take the plunge. The number of people that require a step by step guide at every point in the process it feels almost like your sat next to them with your hand on the mouse, you wonder how some of them get dressed in the morning! I prefer the posts like I have read this but don't understand it can someone help rather than 'I am new I havent got a clue but would like someone to help me because I cannot be bothered to at least try to help myself. Thats not having a go at you in particular just a general observation and if you are still stuck I will contine, along with the others on this site, to help guide you through.
