Kryptview A700C dead?

Open yer box, look at Capacitors 10-11 or even 12 even if they look good (don't be fooled if they look sparkling new and no leaks), some caps act this way) test em with a decent avometer, if yer gota good avo it will tell yer if it's dead, when yer know it's dead, remove with solder suction tool and replace the dud cap.
Easy, why are yer havin probs puttin an avometer on the caps, just do has I said and then get to Maplins or a decent electrical shop and get a replacement Cap, won't cost no more than 20p.

P.S Just do has I have explained and when yer do this and yer suss out the dud cap and yer replace it, you will get a great buzz that yerv'e Repaired it yerself and saved yerself quite a few quid rather than taking it to some tv engineer who would charge yer about £30 minimum for doin somethin that's easy enough to do yerself.

how do you mean went Dec, do you mean it's blown or you have the code up dating screen.
