Default HB at 5000

When I set up my Manhattan 500ST some time ago, I had Hot bird on 5000; recently I have had to move the dish to 5030 to receive Hot bird.
  • Why has this happened?
  • How do I return to 5000 and receive Hot bird.

Thanks.

are you talking about the count on the positioner in the receiver ?

with you needing to nudge the dish 30 more counts i think you need to move it to 1west if in the uk and check the alignment of the dish

Thanks for your reply.
Correct the dish needed to be clicked 30 counts. And now need some info on the alignment task. The home data is 54.67 latitude, -5.75 longitude.
What do I adjust when arriving at 1 West?

jmac.

realign the dish moving it left or right outside with a signal meter and then on your receiver resync the satellite positions

but if all the other satellite positions have good signal levels then leave it be

is the motor a 36volt motor or diseqc 1.2 motor ?

I followed you instructions, which fixed the problem. Maybe you can explain the following,

When at 28 e BBC1 used to be channel 1, now I find BBC1 is at 146 with the other UK channels following, is there a reason for this.
36volt motor.
Thanks,
