Hi everyone,
I have a modified Pace 1000T cable box in the Glasgow area but i've never had the PIN code for the movies etc, 1234, 0000, etc wouldnt work. Somebody told me to disconnect then open up the box, remove the red jumper for 2 mins then put it back together. On the first power up, enter the diagnostic menu and change the pin and the "default frequency" back to what it was previously. I then rebooted the box, now i'm just getting the Virgin Media, powering up....just a moment" screen. I've been getting this for hours. I've tried doing a forced update on the box, I've tried removing the jumper and doing it all again 3 times but still no joy! The cables are all definately plugged in correctly at the back and my other box downstairs is working fine so its not the feed coming into the house. Could it be the "net id" maybe or could any other settings on the engineer menu need changed, i've only changed the default frequency and the pin since pulling the jumper??? Thanks in advance! |

i'm in a Telewest area i think. It provider was called Telewest before Virgin media and the box says Telewest on the front.
If this is the case, how do i get the network id changed? i dont have any equipment to flash cards or that. Whenever the card goes down and needs flashed my mate gives it to someone he knows who flashes it for me. P.s. MY NETWORK ID IS SHOWING 09999 Last edited by davyboy1; 02-01-09 at 12:48 AM. |

Yea you need to set your net-id manually . Im not to sure but i think you can use libby to set your net-id on this box. If not you will need to make a net-id funcard, you could ask the guy that does it to make one for you.
netid funcard method will work on this box anyone? |
