Newbie lost with LincSat 7.25 on Nokia DBox2

Hi All,

i have a box (Nokia Dbox2) that someone else was updating for me up to now. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore, therefore i am trying to figure out things myself!

I have installed the 2xLincsat 7.25 FULLISH 13 Dec 2008 version and it looks cool! The thing is i have installed the toolbar for the keymaster and i have got the keys, manipulated the Keylist.txt file as follows:

..but it doesnt find any channels and it doesnt come with any error!?!?!?

- I am using 5C01 as i am on V*rgin
- I have tried the ROM10 as well with no success..
- At the location i chose my area (Ilford) but it gives me Sym Rate 6952 instead of 6887 that the Carleboys Codes text file says i should be using but NetID and FREQUENCY are right.
- All I have plugged in is the scart connection to my TV and the Male Antenna cable at the Female Antenna port.
- Apart from installing the ROM and changing the Keylist.txt file I have made absolutely no changes, deletions or other files manipulation whatsoever!

Any clues?

you may be better off flashing with the new blade image, or any other image , but you got to put in the rom 7 fix, it was the rom 7 that needs to be put into the box, if you got a flashing assistant, then some one may give you the full working img if ask nicely i guess,,,

As i said im a newbie so im trying to make sense out of all these things...so when you say put in the ROM7 you mean add the "magnarom7.bin" and remove the 10 and 11? The LincSat image is newer than the ROM7 fix though..

You mentioned a flashing assistant... you mean a program or a person? I have flashed my box by myself,I have all the tools needed (took me a while to figure out what i need but i did it!!)...I dont mind using a different image if someone could help me, I have tried using some FAQs and manuals but they didnt work

you need to know if your ex cw or tw or n t l to input the correct keys {or put in new rom in keys }
plus the scan area should be sorted once you input your location so it should scan

Hi and thanks for the reply. I have done my research on that and found that I am Ex CW as i am on V*rgin in Ilford. When i run a scan it says it was successful but no channels were found..?

try switching sym rate from 6952 to 6887 manually by choosing 1 transponder then swith back to complete....then rescan
