HI

Got a bluray player which I would like to connect via the ethernet connection.As my pc is hidden in a cupboard about 15m away,is there anyway without running a cable round the room.Already have wireless keyboard.

if your pc has hdmi you could use that, but 15m is hdmi's limit without a repeater/booster.
Ethernet on the BD player is for firmware upgrades iirc.

Cat5 or above = 100m before signal repeater is needed.

Had a look on back of router only one ethernet connection,which I use for the pc.Is there some kind of splitter I can use?

Had a look at ethernet hubs very cheap(good thing).Has anybody used the networking adaptors you plug in and use the household wiring to send the signal?

homeplugs are good, but can be expensive and some (not all) will only guarantee to work on the same ring mains AND without any multi-gang sockets attached.
Best to get a small 5-8 port switch (not a dumb hub). You can get one for less than £10 nowadays.
