Tried the scan nothing happens, I`m sure there some setting that is being overlooked. And no I cant for the time being as I do not have the wire needed, will be getting on sunday though. Anything else you know may help. I know that once FTP connection is made then it is fixable, but that is out of the question at the mo.

try manual scan off
fast scan off

or

only a service file for ur area - where r u? or got bruteforce scan option?

Will try manual scan off and fast scan off but I have hardly any hope.
Bardford(service file?) Don`t think there is a bruteforce option though, but I`m a dummy so I wouldn`t know.

Hurayy I got it to work also the channels which were missing have returned! All it took was a Bruteforce scan and alot of help from TwinTown - -thanks!!

cable 6952 we use in bristol area,maybe it will be easier to flash a dif image into the box like quad blade which seems the most stable yet, and from that image you can set your area code after pressing the blue button then maybe do a scan then ????? worked my end ok

cable provider is meant to be cable 6952, press ok to change it.
