Default access to commando 10 homepage

Hi,

Flashed commando 10 onto my box recently.
Using my crossover cable, I can access the nice web page for my dbox by putting the ip address into my laptop browser.
However, when I use a normal ethernet cable from my dbox to my wireless router, I can't access the web page via either the dbox ip address or the ip address assigned to the dbox by the router.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? This feature would make life a lot easier (no xover cables and i could sit on my sofa while I work on my dbox!)

Cheers in advance,
Gordopolis

I no it sounds daft but make sure the cable on your router is plugged into one of the output ethernet ports not the internet port.

Done this plently of times myself easy mistake to make but annoying!

Also make sure that on your computer you go into your wireless connection, and change the ip address manually to the one used for connecting with your dbox

Hi,

Yeah - got my cables/ports mixed up a few times too!

If I type in my dbox address with my setup as described, I get the frameset for the commando homepage, but with each of the three frames displaying a page cannot be dispayed message - sounds like I'm almost getting in there but not quite?
