Default Box Super Logo File find

Just downloaded the logo file for my Box Super USB and the pc open the bin file with VLC Media player. I noticed that it actually displayed the logo and the background image.

Is this bin file just a video clip etc?

Could we create our own clips?

Try for yourselves and see

It's always done that & yes it is a frame or two of video. It was talked about a long time ago.

If you're brave you could try to create your own iamges but AFAIK you have to get the format just right or you'll screw your box & need to use jtag to recover. I don't know if anyone ever successfully managed to do it. Let us know if you do!!
