i have an old sky digi box with a paird card can i do anything with it, can the card be glitched to get bk and ird

What are you trying to do? The card number is printed on the front of the card and its paired to the box number which is available in the system menu somewhere.

If you are trying to hack a Sky card, then forget it!

If you want to use the card legitimately, then phone Sky, they will tell you if you can use it or not, or send you a new one.

Yes the box can be used again. Sky boxes are the property of the users, so they can be sold, transferred , used again, whatever.

Any active Yellow house Sky card (with appropriate subscription) will work in the box for the basic mix and FTV chanels. For premium channels the card must be paired to the box, a simple ( well it should be simple if Sky weren't such a PITA) phonecall to Sky would get it sorted.

Yes the box can quite safely be used again (it belongs to the user not Sky from the moment its first installed) - it will give you all the clear channels and the half dozen "free to view" (soft encryption) if a card is inserted into it. If the card hasnt been used for a while just leave it in the box for a few days and it will come back to life giving you Channels 5, Fiver, Five US, Setanta Sports news and Sky 3.

This of course means its quite legal to sell scond hand Sky boxes (unlike most cable company equipment) ALTHOUGH strictly speaking the cards stay the property of Sky and should not be sold

Yes Sky boxes can be cloned - if you have access to surface mount flash equipment costing about £50k!

If you dont have a garage full of exceeding specialised electronics then forget it.

As to why cant sky be hacked - it just hasnt been (or if it has the folk who have done it are keeping it VERY quiet) There are rumours the previous version of the encryption were hacked about 6 years ago - the rumours go on to say the guy who released the hack is still in prison, his family business was ruined, his friends and family hounded etc.

No-one in their right mind messes with NDS who created the Videoguard encryption used by Sky and several other broadcasters.
