i recently discovered the mame emulator quite accidently while looking for summit else.
i couldn't believe such a resource existed... and all free...

i bought a usb joystick and think its supreb.

i played arcade games alot in tthe early 80's and have now uncovered a few gems from back then....

got to say my lad isn't too impressed with games right enough, he's more into his wii and dsi......

At first i didnt wanna DL it cause it was HUGE

Then i found one thats only 2 Megs or so and that one is fine

My old games are Tekken 3 and Street Fighter. These are best old fighter games.

Nowadays i am not interested in game But i was playing Mario game. This game is very old.

Old stuff from the 70s and 80s is what is fun!!! (Always has,always will be)

i have a dvd with mame on it and about 1300 games, some are really good especially the neogeo stuff

i remember tekken1 for ps, i still like the game
to be honest, old game like heroes of might and magic are classic for me, diablo, final fantasy 7, um, don't like most of the new games becuz they only focus on grafix and thats pretty stupid.
like Zelda for SNES is one of the best games ever made, and it's for SNES, but games today have 1,000,000 the power and completely suck.. but have "awesome gfx" so they are automatically good.
it sucks imo

i like, streets of rage, robocop, bad dudes vs dragon ninja, R-type, mario kart, golden axe, turbo outrun, shinobi, but some of them do look a bit crap now but still good enough to kill a hour when bored.

I gotta agree 100% on this one, some of the older titles don't look too good but MAME is a great way to have some mindless fun. I'm specially fond of the Metal Slug games, but it's great to be able to play things like Altered Beast, Golden Axe or Double Dragon again!
