Default Old games (MAME)

Well, I know that newer games are cool, however somtimes older ones are easier to play and also funnier than newer.

I like very much playing old games like MAME. Do you play MAME?

Yes Prince of persia was a great game.
So were the kings quest games. Pretty much anything by serria from 1982-1992 was a good game.
Aces over the pacific, the first WWII flight game I played, and it rocked.
Then there are the old school shoot em up games, duke nukem, wolfenstine 3d, triad, and who could forget bouncing babys!
If you've never heard of or played the old school dos game bouncing babys, you dont know what your missing, cult classic!

I love Mario Kart 64 or the Nintendo 64. Too bad I gave it to my cousin. Aw. I miss that game. I got Mario Kart DS now so it doesn't really matter.

So much joy to be had from retro gaming. I've just got my (sons) Wii running Megadrive and SNES games. Haven't put MAME on yet as I was never much of a coin-op fan, but I suppose I should just for Mortal Kombat.

*heads of to tackle Dr Robotnik once more.

Heh, it's ironic that - we have a PS3, but the younger kids especially like to play the old Megadrive games on the PS2!

I did have the MAME emulator installed together with some old games to try out, mainly ones that I used to play, at the time I thought that were brilliant, but I find them boring now, my kids had a play with some of them, but it didn't hold their interest for more than 10 mins or so.

After playing games such a GTA4 on the PS3, I would never go back to playing the old games, the newer games are far more fun, more interesting, with much more to do, not to mention the stunning graphics.
