hi all. Ive got a 50" LG tv model 50PC56 and a LG home cinema dvd 6.1 model no ht752th-dh.
there's a few things i want to try and do. but what cables do i need? i think a optical audio cable will work but im not sure:S

1. I want to connect the tv to the dvd so i get surround sound watching normal tv.

2. I also want to be able to get surround sound from my xbox 360(HDMI version).

3. and if its possible i want to be able to get surround sound from my pc that i sometimes conect to the tv.
Can someone tell me what cables i need? thanx

What inputs and outputs do you have on your devices?

on the tv ive got
2 scart, 2 hdmi, digital audio out optical, RGB, RS 232c IN, component in

on the dvd player ive got
optical in, monitor out, component video out, 1 scart, 1 hdmi

on the 360 ive got the normal lead u get with it and a HDMI port

Connect both the DVD and 360 to the TV using HDMI leads, and for all sound from the TV use an optical lead from the TV to the amp. Should work.
