Default Mosc card help

Can someone give me some advice which would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to get my infinity card reader to read a mosc card. I have it set to pheonix mode 3.68. I open Nagra 4.0 and try to read from card. This following message appears, any advice given is greatly appreciated.

Try setting the Phoenix to 3.58 and download nagra 4.1, if the card is locked you will need an unlooper

I downloaded nagra 4.1 and 5 tried them both , still no luck does this mean the card is locked.

Is the card reader a infinity usb unlimited? are you using it on a laptop? are you running windows vista operating system?

Thanks for taking the time to help, i have the bk & ird numbers. What it is i have learned how to do funcards and atmegs and thought i would try to do an N*L card.

I have tried but keep getting the message as posted on first post.I tried to change the com ports and still no luck. I was just wondering if its something i am doing wrong.

if yo have the numbers,run the card with mron,and this will wipe the card

My machine is the infinity usb pheonix. Yes i am running it on my laptop and using windows xp.

I would think it is almost a certainty that it is something to do with your setup, the fun card was probably programmed with the software that came with your programmer. This was written for the 'latest systems' usb etc most of the other software that you might use was written before these systems were available so always seem to work OK on old systems with the old COM1 9 pin serial port but always seem to cause problems on newer machines especially laptops because you have to configure your system to behave to the software like a 'cranky old machine'!
