i have asked this before but still unable to sort it.

i changed 512 chip on the box,
then when i turned the box on it god to "boot" then just restarted.

i thought something may have been wrong with the chip, so i messed about with it and lifted a pad.

i have no done the pad fix but the same thing is happening
but now the box gets to boot,
restarts
does and update, says Prog followed by done at the end of up date
then gets to boot again and it all just goes in one big circle

the box wont let me into eng menu!.

i am in ntl pure

i have been told fitting a pre programmed chip may help, but surely i shouldnt have to, ?

any help appreciated

You dont have to change the 512 chip if your in pure mate.

well it was doing the same thing initally, so i tried changing it

any ideas wot to do?

its 1 expensive door stop, box cost me 170, ive had 5 chips, a soldering iron and accessories, a £20 conductive pen, a 512 chip programmer,
amp wire etc etc

i see in the above thread someone got theres workin after someone sent him the dump for their area for the 512 chip instead of one generated by an app.
does anyone have one for nottingham?

the ill try and program one up if we think this is what i need to do

press the ok an stand by buttons together then hit the reset button...................thanks button is on the bottom right ..cheers

im really not having much luck, my chip programmer that has programed these chips before has decided it dont want to program them no more and just displays "bad parameters"

so need to find some 1 to send me a pre programmed chip if poss.
