It says chorus/ntl part of UPC. but is is pure network or is it similar mess to what it is in UK? And that is what I'm trying to establish curently.
Believe it or not but I was reading on the forum and trying to google that and I find out that it's possible to get netID from the box itself by going into engineers menu (how I'm going to do that? don't know yet). I wonder if it is necessary? |

I have PACE DC221KN. Did't check it whitout the card yet. When I put with the card, getting no service at all. Think because box is not subbed any more.

With those boxes the only way to get bk is from card, so dont put card onstream or you will have false bk, if you have no service it might be ok, see if you can get into eng menu holding up and down then power on without cable feed, see if it says anything about card, although it will probably say no t stream.

@Reddiesel I did as you said. I connected to the TV w/o card and I have 2 or 3 programs. I also boot it in eng mode and recieved netID and some other info. In eng mode I've found information: "CARD NEVER PAIRED"

Ah thats a shame m8, that means the card has been hit with false bk, even though net id is ok you wont be able to get the boxkey off the card, it will be 6D 56 etc.

Is the box key unique? I have second subbed box in the living room so I can get bk from the other box but is there any point doing that? Is the same make and model of the box.

As the box is busted (any option of geting bk from it? Any1?). I did some reading. My TV set have DVB tuner build in and it also has CAM port. If I get CAM module and stick FunCard into it will it work?
