Hi there guys I have been given a 4000 box apparently the talk back has been cut but there's on light on the top that stays on? On other boxes that I have had the middle light always flashes. I tried putting a filter on and it stills stays on I tried to book a film and it would not allow me so I’m pretty sure it’s been done can anyone confirm that the 4000 light stays on cheers.

Go to the settings menu, technical stuff.

If it says DHCP return path is off then talkback has been cut

Also as a note, the top light always stays on constant. The only light that will flash is the middle light. It might not be flashing, but as long as the middle light is not on solid then nothing to worry bout.

Tried that mate, when I went into settings, Tec stuff it just reboots the box before it gives me the information? ffice

Sounds like it might need a software update.

Not enitrely sure how to force an update for a 4000 but have a look around it will be somewhere.

Try updating then have another go at looking at the technical stuff in settings.

Hopefully that will sort it.
