ROM 10 RevA82 - "BackDoor reported disable"???

Just got hold of a pace 2000 with paired card.

Just read the card in nagra and got the following message:

Is this bad news or does it just need unlooping??

Just to add not tried unlooping yet just read in nagra.

cant remember how you open them now but im pretty sure you can get the bk from it by using boxget pc2

Thought it might need unlocking but with it saying backdoor reported disabled was'nt too sure.

Considered using bexgetpc2 but then was prompted with two spanish messages, and as im not well up on my spanish and dont already have the bk wasnt brave enough to press them.

If i press yes to both the messages im not gonna risk wiping the card or anything like that am I?

I know it won't unlock but if i use sidewinder_getmy_bk will it be able to grab the bk of this rom10. Roughly how long does it take?

in your unlooper? it should eventually come back with the bk

Yes in my unlooper or wherever will give me the bk.

Any ideas how long it will take to grab the bk because if that is still going to take a few hours i might as well just try and unlock it fully.

Any recommendations??

unlock it. get a vdc of 19-1a by turning the pot while sidewinder is running.

Ok thanks for the advice. Looks like sidewinder is the way to go then.

Wan't to get a few things straight before I dive in too deep and mess things up.

What seems to be the quickest method for popping a reva82 sidewinder or win-ex?

Also, if i start unlooping in sidewinder is it safe to stop the process after say a few hours and then start again or it a case of just starting sidewinder and don't touch till its finished?

Or what about win-ex, can i stop that half way through?

a82 shouldn't take as long as a a86. your still looking at a few hours thou. run it, you might be supprised.

Okies well looks like ive got my planned tomorrow now.

Hopefully it will all go down with no problems (as its my first try at unlooping).

And I will get back to you guys when I have the results.
