Hi, stumbled in here by chance while looking around for some help with my silvercrest system (SL65, not 12v)Have read some old posts re upgrading the Ali B1 chip. Can someone give me some plain English help. I've played about for a few months tapping in to 8 or 9 sats which are presets in the Comag box( moving dish is no prob, ) but how can I tune in to sats that are not pre loaded? Also whats involved in patching /updating and what would I gain if I did it? None of you who read this were born with any sat knowledge so please don't laugh at those of us who are trying to find our feet in a fascinating subject. Nobody is fluent in "dishspeak" when they discover sat tv and teaching yourself anything from booklets is slow when you can't read the language it's written in. Even some directions to a basic tutorial video would be much appreciated. thanks in advance
