A lot of eople have problems with thos usb to rs232 conversion cables especially when you start to use some of the other programs you might have more success with a RS232 Com Port 9 Pins PCMCIA Laptop Card Cardbus Serial. Make sure the PCMCIA is compatible with your machine available on fleabay. The Nagra Edit text you uploaded does appear to indicate that the card is locked and will require a unlooper/glitcher. This is a different piece of hardware that can incrementally change the supply voltage to the card to try to make the card go unstable and enable it to be unlocked.
