ive unlocked a 250 with the console started softjag whilst falshing boot loader i get an unhandled err so ive clicked dis connect the reconnected bout 3 timeseach time i get further along the process or writing bytes but now ive got an error in the softjag window saying reboot modem not sure if i should cheers guys

close softjtag and try rerunning it and reflashing.

do not power off the modem until you get a completed flash or you have a brick.

i done that but after a couple of times im getting connected to modem error occurred need to reboot modem an im getting that everytime i close an reopen softjag

means the shell is playing up.

try connecting to the modem via putty.

attached is how you need to set it up.



once you done that, hit enter a couple of times and see if you get a dos command prompt type thing.

if you do type in

cd /

then press enter

then close putty and try softjtag again

same happened to me i had to reboot the pc but leave power on the modem hope thats some help

ive tried rebooting pc no joy,also ive tried putty but im not able to type anything in the cmd window im not getting the modem ok msg now in softjtag ive lost a couple of modems an i guess i be losing plenty more

if you arent getting anything from putty, the modem has crashed.

reboot modem and pray.
