Hi lads bit of help needed with this dell inspiron 530, The lad had the blue screen coming up alot so he ask me to put xp on, it did have vista on, anyway sorted all that got all drivers
but it willnot conect to the net it say network cable unpluged so i put a new ethernet
card it and that says the same, i know the modems ok cuzz thats what i'm using now, so can anyone here sort me out cuzz i have never come across this prb befor.

have a look in device manager any yellow ! look at networking if its expanded chances are you have a conflict // bad driver
