Pace How can i start? PLZ Help

Hi, i have got an pace telewest cable box where i bought from a guy, all the channels was working fine for 4 months but yesterday the receiver update its self and i lost a couple channels. So i just want to learn in how to flash it again by my self.

So please how can i start with this, do i need to program the card (funcard or diablo or virgin) and thats all, or do i need to connect the jtag to do some thing in the pace receiver and after program the card with infinity usb and insert the new keys on the card?

Please i am just looking for a tutorial in how to do step by step, whats first and whats last. I did flash a satellite receiver before the LIDLS one, but i didn't need to use any card, but for cable i need that and i just don't know what to do first. I know so far that i need a funcard 4, infinity usb and a jtag, so the jtag i have so far, but the rest i just want to buy to right one.

Please, please, please Help me!!!

what model pace have you got ...what chans are you missing loads or 3or4

Its pace i am traying to go to settings on the menu to see the model will post again very soon about this, i had all the channels before cos the guy said that we are sharing all the same card, its a virgin card, but now i have channels 1,2,3,4,5 itv2, bbcnews, parliament, couple radios and thats all, i don't believe i lost all channels.

i unpluged the power off at the back of the receiver and put it back on, update it self again, clear the memory cache as well, no erros at all, but no channels a part of those ones, its very strange it should give any error, but it doens't.

I remembered the guy saying that the box doesn't send any talkback as well. thats the reason i get a flash lighting on the screen of the receiver, and i dont need to insert the new keys cos it update itself just plug and play.

How this guy could flash the virgin card, i really dont understand.

I am just trying to say as much as i can to you so the more information i give you i think is better.

Hardware Type DI4000-T

Hardware version P3.197

Software version P3.3_6_11_know_p10

I believe this receiver is flashed already. Is there any possibity to insert the new keys(codes) using a jtag cable, or accessing a hidding menu some where?

That would be the easy way to do to get a solution i think.

u need to re do the card the date on that card has expired......time to do some reading up

So do you think i could re do the same virgin card, using (infinity usb) or using the jtag cable?
