I must be having a bad day today!!

Have scouted about on the forum but cannot find the answer. I have a starview 1 and have ordered a 4 with 160gb hardrive which will be arriving tomorrow (woo hoo!) anyhoo, I have found the latest firmware (i think) called V107.bin but I am confused by people talking about a 'logo' file! Is this an additional one that I will need to upload via the usb as with the V107.bin file? And if so, where can I find it?

Yeah I have been on that forum before. Maybe I am being thick but have been on there and cannot find any topics on the menus relating to starview or any cable info for that matter. Do you need to be a member to see them?

Searched afterdawn and cannot find the answer : < also searched some others too, so does anyone know whether its just the one or I need both files? Cheers in advance.

On afterdawn search for "New years eve fixes" you should find what you need

when I first had my sv4 I had to load the logo file or it would not scan all the way through, then I had to put on the f/w which at the time was v1.05

v1.07 is now the latest f/w for your box, if you just put that on and you find it wont scan all the way then yes you will need the logo file
