I have an Ambit 250 modem and i can get a mac working on it, but the problem i have that after a couple of days of use it seems to go down normally when i've been downloading NZB's. Is there anything else I should be changing, i.e NIC or anything similar

VM possibly blacklisting those macs against your NIC mac.. everywhere i read they advise to spoof your NIC MAC address

Use SMAC

What should it be spoofed too

The last 3 bytes should be changed. There is a 'random' button in the program that will change it for you.

When you connect your subbed modem, then change back to your normal nic mac and vica versa for the cloned modem.

Dont forget, I have to disable the network adapter then re-enable it for the spoofing to actually work.

I read you dont have to spoof your nic if you connect via usb, you could alway try that.
