Hi all,
I'm in an ex-n*l area and on the QAM64 modulator which ive read is the crap old one.. I hear they are being phased out for the QAM256 which apparently is a harder to maintain network but offers better bandwidth BUT!! - does anyone know when the changeover will be complete, I've looked for status pages on it but no luck. i also noticed my downstream power level on modem is around +15dbmv - could this be the problem too for my slow speeds? I was thinking of getting a 12db forward path attenuator to decrease the strength of the downstream signal, and hopefully not increasing my already high upstream power level. Anyone who could shed some light please? Thanks in advance.
