problem With pace box.

Hi guys, got stuck and need some help.
Basically my b*x went off with the original n*l card.
I also have a funcard. I know my ird and bk. I have infinity unlimited.
I tried to program the funcard using flash file (pure) and toxic 7.
It doesn't want to work. I was wondering if i need a file for inteep or not.
i don't want to play with the original card yet.
Any help will be much appreciated.

hi,

when you open toxic you have to fill in the keys as well then save that file, then in the infinity software click on the ext.eeprom and put the file there, and then put the latest flash file in the flash icon, then write the card but you have to have the right ird and bk

you will find the keys the bigmaq toolbar

you should just need to overwrite the flash but as its not working (fun) we might want to create the exteep again using toxic.

you enter your bk and ird forwards and leave the key 1 and 0 as they are, you them drag drop the file you have made over the icon of swapbinhex and it will create a exteep in hex format
this together with the flash hex from your area is then programmed to the card.

no inteep is needed. you might want to erase the card a couple of times first too. this is quite important as the card doesn't want to work at the moment so we want to make sure its clean.

you don't need to drag over swapbinhex, just do as said in my first post with the keys to see if it works ,then you know you have the right flash then just try it without the keys but leave it on bbc 1 for 10 mins to see if updates itself then try the pay channels.

Make sure the int eeprom file space is blank especially when you read the card and it says something like DATA READ FROM CARD it is important that you erase this and leave it blank. If you don't it may prevent your card from taking a key update when you need it to.

Thanks all you guys who replied, tried it again with a different flash file and it worked. I think the other one was too old.
