got a motorola 5100i was working fine up un till yesterday how do i get it back on tried loads of differnt macs still no luck what is this new tftp server ur on about m8 will this help it is running on sigmax1.4
if that helps if i need to change something were do i change it any help would be app thanks in advance

Hello there
i havent much interest in modems so sorry if my info is wrong but i think what your looking for is in the first post of this thread(New tftp ip address & new config file names). I think you just need to change them.Though im not sure how you would do that on a motorola 5100i. May be you can use the same program you used to change your mac addresss?

BTW im assuming your in belfast

guys are you speed testing the configs yourself or is there a database out there with the speeds? I have a few from my UBR but no idea what speeds they are as I aint been able to test.

Guy's i'm down too and need alittle help i take it if your mac was good b4 these changes i can just run the new config file and tftp without having to beg on here for a new mac?? I did do this but can't get back online i queried the modem first with ambit to get the mac. Could it be the forced config??
