Default DHCP sniffer

I have tried the above DHCP sniffer and for some reason cant seem to get anything.
I put in mac address and press discover but nothing happens,any ideas what i am doing wrong

sorry m8 i am new to the modem scene i am trying to sniff for my m8,my modem is not flashed does it have to be before i can sniff for macs????

no it dosnt sorry i thought you were doing your own modem, you cant sniff for addys if you are using a router so unplug it then start dhcp force and go to start sniffing and let it run its as easy as that. when you have finished sniffin right click on the addys and dump to file then just get rid of all the addys you dont need

ye also you dont hav to put in addy and discover just go to start sniffing also when you you dump all to file go to your dhcp folder and there will be a file file called configs thats were your sniffed addys will be

make sure you turn any firewalls off and disable any Antivirus or you will not get anything

i get addresses with firewall and anti virus on, i couldnt get them through a router tho.

Ok sniffed and wjthin 4 mins had about 20 hits,i have a phew questions now
1 what do i now do with them(i know i cant use them)
2 what do i look for
3 what is bootfile address subnet gateway????

So what now
