my tv carn't see it i was told hafter i won it that it wouldent work i don't know if i got to do anything to make it work but no good at the mo,anyone no if i can get it to work with my sony tv.

i am trying to get all cable channels virgin on my sony lcd with a built in cable tuner but don't know what files to use mate.

sorry i won this cam on ebay thinking it would work in my tv with bk off the cam but the tv acrn't reconise the cam.

Shifted this time out of the satellite section. Any more cable posts polluting the sat section will be binned without warning.

BTW - I see you have picked up 2 infractions in 2 days for posting in the wrong section - Pick up a third one and you will get an automatic ban from the forum so its in your own interests to get it right.

quite glad i saw this topc... i recently got a sony tv and i thought i'd stick a virgin feed to the areal to see if there were any anologue channels still available to pick up... when i went to tune in, i saw a section about cable, so i chose this, then it asked me for a frequecy and net id. so i entered the ones for my area, and hey presto, it found all the channels...

at the min, i can only see the fta ones, so i left it at then, the thought didn't cross my ind about cams etc... i read the post about cable tv on pcs about cams and joker flash etc... is it the same case for my tv, or are there certain ones i need for a tv? is it just the case of writting a card and sticking it in the cam??

Addyb you just need to write a card, the cam has a code with it you use as a ird /boxkey.

Madmanuk i think the cam needs programming first, then you do a card, you will need a duolabs cas 3 or similar with the extra plug in bit for the cam.
