yes seems so or a triax td110 will be the other option for you. these dishes you should be able to buy over in ireland

i think one of the forum sponsors sell them southern satellite but its the courier cost to ireland which will be high

Well the dish / motor would be quite exposed to the wind so im thinking 1 mtr max!

it will be fine just move the dish side on to the wind so avoid any damage etc

also when you put back the dish for 28e maybe buy a stronger bracket for it.

The TD110, is a bit of a swiz in a way, as it's only actually 1m. I have fitted both (Gibby 1m +TD110), and the feeling is that theres no difference performance wise, but the Al Gibby certainly make life easier, both in it's weight and ease of elevation adjustment. The Orbital and Triax side by side, the Triax wins (based on performance on 7w anyway)

I would strongly recommend a stronger bracket for your 28E setup.

I'm speaking from experience.

Yep Iv read on another forum,Thats its very common for a lidl dish to break its bracket

Im a handy welder and have loads of steel lying around so Im Sure a replacement bracket would be No problem!
